The Dick Institute ( local Museum and Library ) , Elmbank Avenue , Kilmarnock , Ayrshire , is currently featuring  a display entitled  " The Art of Collecting  "  covering various items, including certain Tartan Ware pieces, acquired in 2006 by East Ayrshire Council from Claude Bassouls, a private collector residing in Paris . This free display is on show till Saturday 17th December , 2016 .

The opening hours are : - Tues.& Wed. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m; Thurs. 1 p.m. - 8 p.m; Frid. & Sat . 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed on Mondays .
