The US branch of the Club recently held a meeting in Boston to coincide with the Brimfield Antiques Show. The main meeting was held in the historic Parker House Hotel on 11th September. Some 15 members attended, including 3 from the UK. Members put on a number of interesting displays of mainly US views - illustrated is a wonderful collection of transfer pieces of the famous Bunker Hill Monument. Members then gave a number of short talks on subjects as diverse as:
- The export market for Smiths of Mauchline
- The different transfers showing the Bunker Hill Monument
- The new Club web site.
- "The missing transfers"
A buffet lunch was served and a great time was had by all.
Many thanks to Jim and Lisa Oosterman for their organisation.
